Actor Karthi’s next film is Siruthai and the movie is being directed by S. S. Rajamouli. Siruthai features Karthi and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles while karthi plays dual roles in the movie. Siruthai is being produced by Studio Green’s K. Gnanavelraja and featuring music by Vidyasagar.
Siruthai film is a remake of yesteryear Telugu blockbuster Vikramakudu featuring Ravi Teja in dual roles with Anushka as the female lead character.
The original version has Ravi Teja enacting dual roles as police officer and other one as a petty thief while Jyothika played wife’s role of cop. However, not an even single scene brings Ravi Teja and Jyothika together as she is portrayed as his dead wife.
Siruthai is currently in its production stage and expected to release on 23rd Dec 2010.
