Dhanush is quite happy to be working with Vetrimaran again in Aadukalam, as he is the director who gave him a big break in Polladhavan. The actor earlier stated that he felt a “positive vibration” working with Vetrimaran on the sets of Aadukalam. The latest buzz is that the audio launch of Aadukalam will take place in Chennai on November 10, 2010 and the film will grace theatres in December.
Aadukalam is based on true incidents that took place in Madurai. Vetrimaran had stayed in Madurai for almost six months to prepare the screenplay and sought the help of a professor friend to write the dialogues in the Madurai dialect. Delhi model Tapasee plays an Anglo-Indian girl and Dhanush’s love interest in Aadukalam. G.V. Prakash composes the music
