There have been strong rumors that actress Karthika married one of her distant relatives in a temple, without the knowledge of elders. Karthika who marked her debut in Kollywood through the hit offering Thoothukudi back in 2006 went on to grab a handful of projects in the following years. Enjoying a decent movie career, her marriage news came as a shock to many.
When inquired into the matter with her close ones, we came to know, “She is not yet married .Only the engagement has been done.” The engagement ceremony was kept under cover by her family members. They felt that making the news public would affect her movies doing good business at the theaters. It is told that Karthika will get married to an NRI guy, after the pair got engaged in a village in Kerala. The actress who is best known for her performance in the film Raman Thediya Seethai had shifted to Pudukottai permanently, after the offers for new projects stopped flowing, during her stay in Chennai. She however does have a project in Dindugal, opposite actor Karunas which will be completed soon. Once completed, Karthika will move on with her marriage preparations, taking top priority.
