Kollywood’s latest sensation Amala Paul plays the role of a city girl in her upcoming film Deiva Thiirumagal, which also has Vikram and Anushka in prominent roles. The actress, who is just 19, will essay the role of a 24-year-old in the film.
Vikram plays the role of Krishna, who has a developmental disorder and is the father of a six-year-old child. The film tells the story of the relationship between a mentally challenged father and his six-year-old daughter Sara.
Also in the cast are Sarah, Nasser, Santhanam, M.S. Bhaskar, Krishna Kumar, Y. Gee. Mahendra, Pandi and Karthik Kumar. The technical team comprises G.V. Prakash (music), Nirav Shah (camera), Anthony (editing), Santhanam (art director) and Deepali Noor (costume designer).
