Seemingly unaffected by the debacle of his latest movie ‘Doubles’ with a debutante director, Megastar Mammootty is still on with his passion to promote new directors. The latest to join his list of introductions will be G Maarthandan, an associate to Shafi, Anwar rasheed and Lal.
G.Maarthandan will become an independent director with the new yet to be titled movie with Mammootty which will be scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam.The movie which will kick off its shoot by the early months of next year will be produced by Faisal Alappuzha in the banner of Achaappu films.
But before G Maarthandan will debut as an independent directors, freshers like Anoop Kannan, Pramod Payyannur and Prasad will have their first films with Mammootty, before Mollywood viewers.
