Mani Ratnam, who has given intense hits to Kollywood is back with his upcoming movie Kadal, which is no more a news now. Latest we hear is Kadal is being made with high budgets of Rs.50crores.
Script writer Jaya Mohan has confirmed the news saying, “I’m happy, as I was given enough freedom while penning the script and yes, Kadal is being made with a budget of 50cr.” AR Rahman is composing the music and background for Kadal that is being ilmed on the lives of fisherman in Thootukudi districts.
Director Mani Ratnam, who has introduced many star actors like Aravind Swamy, Manisha Koirala et al is also introducing Gautham, son of Karthik and Thulasi, daughter of Radha with Kadal. Interestingly Kadal will mark the comeback movie of Aravind Swamy that also casts Action King Arjun, Lakshmi Manchu et al in the vital roles.
