Mitra Kurian is the latest Malayalee girl from Perumbavoor to try her luck in Tamil films.
Thanks to her Godfather, director Siddique, Mitra got a big break in Kaavalan.
Mitra appeared in the film as heroine Asin’s best friend who due to a quirk of fate ends up as hero Vijay’s wife in the film.
Remember that Mitra did the same role in Siddique Bodyguard, which was Kaavalan’ s original in Malayalam.
The upcoming actress makes no bones about it that she enjoyed doing both the films with Nayanthara and Dileep in Malayalam and Asin-Vijay in Tamil.
After doing Kaavalan she has become a big fan of Vijay.
Mitra is hard working and is sure to go places, as she is negotiating to play heroine in a big hero Tamil film.
As of now she is doing Kantha in Tamil and London Dreams in Malayalam.
