Karthi, fresh with the success of his latest film “Paiyaah” opposite Tamannah, is probably the most eligible bachelor in Tamil films at present along with Simbu. Younger brother of Suriya, Karthi opened up recently on his marriage plans on the eve of the audio launch of his upcoming film “Naan Mahaan Alla” in the city yesterday.
Categorically asserting that he is a committed son to his parents, he said, “Of course, I will only marry the girl of my parent’s choice. There is no place for romance in my life.” He added that he was thrilled to be part of Suseendhiran’s “Naan Mahaan Alla”, setin the city and loaded with action and humour.
At the audio-launch, the normally shy ‘little genius’ Yuvan Shankar Raja thanked all for their support and oozed confidence that the songs would become big hits, just like they were in ‘Paiyaah’. A couple of songs, screened on the occasion, seem to endorse Raja’s views.

Among those who were present were director Lingusamy, Suseendhiran, Kajal Aggarwal (Karthi’s heroine in the film) and Dhayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies. The film also marks the return to Tamil films for Kajal Aggarwal, who was last seen in Tamil films in Saran’s ‘Modhi Vilaiyadu’ more than an year ago.
Suseendhiran of ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’ fame has directed the film which is produced by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films.
