Director Mani’s Ponniyin Selvan is making headlines on every alternative day for its latest happenings. The hunt for the rest two heroines is still going on and it is heard that the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu is likely to be Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra. As per the known fact in the tinsel town Mani Ratnam never makes an attempt of asking an actress for the second time as she rejected an offer earlier. It is known that Priyanka turned down the offer made by Mani in Raavanan in spite of that the director prefers her to the role in his film. However nothing has been made official as the project is still is in its budding stage.
An inside source said that though the Piggy Chops is busy with projects in Bollywood but this time she doesn’t want to miss the chance of working with one of the India’s finest director Mani Ratnam. Adding to the earlier statement he confessed “Priyanka is in plans of meeting Mani Ratnam very soon. This would be her first Kollywood film and she is all happy to have 200 crore budget mega blockbuster Ponniyin Selvan as her debut.
