KOCHI: Actor Rima Kallingal will be seen in a sizzling hot avatar in the upcoming Prithviraj Starrer ‘City Of God.’ Directed by Lijo Pallisserry, the movie is a remake of Portuguese movie ‘City of God’ (‘Cidade de Deus’). Lijo’s debut as a director was the Indrajith-starrer ‘Nayakan’. Prithviraj and Indrajith come together once again in the movie where Rima plays the heroine.
The brothers have acted together previously in Malayalam movies like ‘Achan Urangatha Veedu’, ‘Nammal Thammil’ and ‘Classmates’.
Shwetha Menon, Parvathi Menon and Rohini are the female leads. Indrajith essays the role of a Tamilian construction worker in the movie where director Fazil’s son Shanu does a cameo.
Rima will be seen donning a sexy red off shoulder gown in a song sequence in the movie which is said to be a masala flick with all the ingredients of stunts and songs. It is divided into four narratives, each with a different perspective on the city of Kochi.
The film is produced by Anil Mathew and written by Babu Janardhanan.
