Tamannaah is likely to the heroine in Ajay Devgn’s proposed Hindi remake of the Telugu hit Maryada Ramanna, directed by S.S. Rajamouli.
This yet-to-be-titled remake will be directed by Ashwani Dhir, who directed Ajay Devgn’s Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge. The film is likely to go on the floors in October 2011.
Notably, after Ileana, Kajal Aggarwal, Charmi and Tapasee, Tamannaah could be the fifth South Indian actress to migrate to Bollywood in a matter of one year.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the release of Singham, the Hindi remake of super hit Surya-Anushka starrer Singam. The film is slated for July 22 release.
