Writer, director and producer Ranjith has started the shoot of his new film Indian Rupee. The film is being made by hero Prithviraj and his August Cinema in association with Ranjith’s Capitol Theatre.Now the latest we hear is that Suresh Gopi has been roped in to the production, to make it commercially more viable.
Ranjith has never directed Suresh Gopi in any film so far, other than writing the script of his Summer in Bethlehem which was directed by Sibi Malayil.
Indian Rupee is said to be an all-out action packed film which will also have Thilakan playing a key role. Rima Kallingal and Roma are likely to be the two heroines in the film which will also have
Innocent and Nedumudi Venu in the supporting cast. Cinematography would be by S Kumar and the music would be composed by new guy Shahbaz Aman.
The last time Suresh Gopi was seen in a Ranjith film, was in Summer in Bethlehem, that was scripted by Ranjith. Indian Rupee would be jointly produced by August Cinema and Capitol Theatre. The shoot of the film will start in Kozhikode in the first week of June.
