Parvathy Melton makes her debut in Malayalam with this film. She was a US-based model before she came to India to act in Telugu films. She already has signed up couple of films in Telugu.
Rafi and Mecartin claim that they had written the film with Mohanlal in mind. The script was ready a long time ago but they were waiting to get Mohanlal’s call sheets.
Ooty is the main location for the film.
During the shooting, Mohanlal was once surrounded by his fans. Since it was summer, there were lots of tourists from all over south India. He patiently took pictures with all of them and was also seen signing autographs for them.
