Suddenly out of the blue, the Vidharth of Mynaa fame Kollaikaran has joined the Pongal race and is releasing on January 13.
Kollaikaran produced by Prasad Cine Artists directed by Tamil Selvan. It has Viddharth and Sangeetha Shetty in the lead and is said to be an action packed family entertainer.
Now Pongal 2012 will have three Tamil releases- Shankar’s Vijay multi-starrer Nanban on January 12, Kollaikaran on January 13 and Lingusamy’s Madhavan-Arya Vettai on January 14.
In Tamil Nadu Nanban and Vettai are getting the best of the screens and show timings.
However, Kollaikaran can also get some single screens. It promises to be a cracker of a Pongal.
