The grapevine is abuzz with rumours that Prakash Raj is getting married to choreographer Pony Varma on August 24 in Mumbai.
Prakash has been keeping a diplomatic silence over the matter. Remember Prakash has just come out of a messy divorce with his first wife Lalithakumari.
Finally on “Friendship Day” (August 1), Prakash unveiled Pony to the media at the audio launch of his Inidhu Inidhu, at Four Frames in Chennai. However Prakash saw to it that no inconvenient questions were asked by the media.
Prakash Raj: “ I’m here to promote my youthful entertainer Inidhu Inidhu, and not to talk about my relationship with Pony.” Pony also refused to confirm about their forthcoming marriage plans and said: “Why don’t you ask Prakash about our marriage?”. An embarrassed Prakash was showing sign language to her not to speak to the media.
Meanwhile Prakash and Pony made a ‘picture perfect’ pair as they roamed around the malls and multiplexes of Chennai promoting their Inidhu Inidhu. Late in the evening the pair boarded a luxury Volvo bus along with other crew members of the film. They are going on a promotional tour of Tier 2 & 3 cities of Tamil Nadu like Trichy, Salem and Coimbatore.
