Prithviraj first film of 2011 will be Ranjith Shanker directed Arjunan Sakshi, releasing on January 28.
There is a good buzz around the film as Ranjith Shankar’s first film Passenger was a not only a hit but was a pathbreaking movie which won the Lohithadas Puraskaram for the best script by a debutant director.
Arjunan Sakshi has Prithviraj doing the role of an architect who comes back home to Kochi and has to face the real estate mafia.
Ann Augistine who shot to fame with Lal Jose’s Elsamma Enna Aankutty is the heroine.
Others in the cast include Biju Menon, Jagathy Sreekumar, Salim Kumar, Nedumudi Venu and Vijayaraghavan
The film is supposed to have shaped out well, and will be a big boost to the young actor’s career.
Prithviraj needs a hit to go up the ladder, and what better way than starting the year on a winning note.
