Mallu girl Bhama, who gave a good performance in her debut Kannada film Modala Sala, has completed shooting for Ondhe Kshanadalli and is currently busy shooting for Shyloo with golden star Ganesh. Bhama reduced 15 kg for the title role in Shyloo; S. Narayan is the director.
“I am acting in Malayalam films since four years. My films in other languages have also increased. Four languages, four years and 15 films is my credit. It was Lohithadas who introduced me in Nivedhyam after seeing my anchor roles in TV programmes. I had a good entry film and till date, things are going well,” said Bhama. It was Lohithadas who gave her the screen name Bhama; her birth name is Rekitha.
“I am choosy, but I realized language is not a barrier. I have seen Moggina Manasu. I want to be a very good professional actress. Good roles are my ambition and money is secondary. I always pray for good roles and want to stand out as a good South Indian actress. I want to be as famous as Sridevi and Jayapradha. I would put my maximum effort for a good role and that is a promise,” added Bhama.
Bhama recently launched her website www.bhamaa.com at Kochi.
