Cinematographer P Sukumar, actors Biju Menon and Suresh Krishna, scriptwriter Sachi and director Shajoon Karyal are teaming up to launch a new film production company called ‘Thakkali Films’. The first film under the banner has been titled Chettayees and it will be on floors from Aug 18 onwards.
The film will be directed by Shajoon Karyal and scripted by Sachi. The cinematographer is Vinod Illampilly. The shooting locations include Kochi and Pondicherry.
Biju Menon plays the male lead, along with Lal. The grapevine has it that the film is about an interesting New Year celebration of five friends.
