Director Kamal, whose last film, Celluloid narrated the life of the father of Malayalam cinema J C Daniel, is focusing on the drama troupes this time. The shooting of his latest project, Nadan has started at Kollam. The place is significant as some of the best-known yesteryear drama troupes used to be based in Kollam.
Jayaram plays the lead in the film. Remya Nambeeshan and Sajitha Madathil are doing the female leads.
The first day’s shoot was at the KSRTC bus stand in Kollam. The film has been scripted by S Suresh Babu and is being produced by Anil Ambalakkara.
