Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus is a much hyped movie of the year 2013. The film had already made it to the headlines for its cast and crew. The new makeover of Mammootty in the film is the main highlight. Actress Sanam Shetty has made her debut in the industry with this movie. Honey Rose is another female lead.

Cleetus is a goonda, but by chance he is offered to play the role of Jesus Christ in a drama by Father Sunny, which was supposed to be played during festivals. Things change in the life of Cleetus after that. Events that occured in the life of Jesus Christ start occuring in the life of Cleetus too. What happens to Cleetus and the people surrounding him form the rest of the story.

G Marthandan, who assisted many profound directors and has an experience of long 17 years in the field of advertisement, has made his debut venture as a film director with Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus. The movie is produced by Faizal Lathif, who is also a member of All Kerala Mammoottty Fans Association.

Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus can be regarded as a comedy entertainer. The first half of the movie is interesting. Mammootty’s new look gets great applause by the audience. Sanam Shetty, who makes her debut in the film, has also proved herself. She has successfully done the lip sync.
