Dileep who had found an appreciable hit recently in the movie ‘Pappy Appacha’ will turn an innocent guy popularly nicknamed as Kunjadu by the villagers in the new Shafi movie tentatively titled as ‘Marykkundoru Kunjadu.’ The actor will play a character named Solomon, an sincere naive young man known for his naive ways, the son of Geevarghese Kapiar (sexton in church). The character of Dileep falls in love with Mary, the character played by Bhavana and hence the name.
‘Marykkundoru Kunjadu’ will be scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam who had been a part of all the recent hits from Shafi. Jagathy Sreekumar, Vinaya Prasad, Biju Menon, Kochupreman, Salim Kumar and Appa Haja are also in the cast of the movie which has already started its shoot at Thodupuzha. P Rajan produces the movie under the banner of Vysakh Cinema.
