The shooting of writer-director Jeethu Joseph’s Drishyam will start during the first week of October. Mohanlal, who is playing the lead, is expected to join the action from Oct 10 onwards. The actor was down with chickenpox for some days now.
Drishyam will have Meena playing the female lead. Thodupuzha is the main location. Jeethu is riding high with hits like Mummy & Me, My Boss and Memories.
Antony Perumbavoor is the producer of Drishyam, which will be Mohanlal’s Christmas release.
Drishyam is a thriller, in which Mohanlal will be seen as a common man, who is committed to his family.
