V.N. Pradeep, one of the programme producers of Victers Channel, is getting ready to debut as director with a film based on the life of Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty, reports said.
Titled My Eighth Wonder, the film will narrate the story of a boy from humble beginnings in a remote village to the finale where he gets world famous accolades. Confirming the film, the director said that Pookutty has already agreed to make the story of his life into a film.
The story begins with Resul’s journey from a village to his appearance at the venue of the Oscar awards ceremony, he said. “We had planned it as documentary,” he added. Pookutty’s long-time friend and cinematographer will crank the camera.
