Director Siddique will be seen back in action in Malayalam after his Bollywood blockbuster Bodyguard.
His Ladies & Gentleman will hit the screens on April 12. The film stars Mohanlal, Meera Jasmine, Mamta Mohandas, Padmapriya and Mithra Kurian. Yesteryear heroine Jayabharathi’s son Krish J Sathar makes his debut as an actor with the film.
Ladies & Gentleman is being produced by Aashirwad Films. Satheesh Kurup wields the camera while Ratheesh Vegha is the music director.
“This is a feel good entertainer and it is different from my earlier films,” says Siddique. He refused to comment about the film’s budget, as it is said to have exceeded Rs. 10 crores in the cost of making, as per certain rumours.
