The shooting of director Siddique’s Ladies & Gentleman has started in Kochi. Mohanlal plays a wealthy man named Chandra Bose, who was once a businessman and now leads a carefree life.
The film has four heroines, Meera Jasmine, Mamta Mohandas, Padmapriya and Mithra Kurian.
Krish J Sathar, son of actors Jayabharathi and Sathar, is making his debut playing an important role in the film. Manoj K Jayan is also part of the cast.
Siddique, who has churned out many hits in Malayalam in the past, had a dud in his last outing, Bodyguard.
But the film was a winner in Tamil and in Hindi. Siddique, who directed both the versions, says that “as a filmmaker, it doesn’t matter to me whether I am making a film in Malayalam or in any other language.”
