Mammootty and Prithviraj are a hot commercial pair after the 2010 blockbuster Pokkiri Raja, directed by Vysakh.
Now director close to the two Amal Neerad is bringing them back in Arival Chuttika Nakshathram (ACN) produced by Prithviraj’s August Cinema. In the film Mammootty will play the hero while Prithviraj is the villain!
Arival Chuttika Nakshathram (Hammer, Sickle & Star) has great title value as it is the symbol of the Communist Party, who has ruled Kerala for many years. ACN will be a political thriller set in the pre-Independence era of the 1930’s and 40’s when the communist movement started in Kerala.
The script is written by Shankar Ramakrishnan of Urumi fame with music by hit pair Rafeeq Ahmed writing the lyrics set to tune by Gopi Sundar.
Their music was one of the major reason for Anwar turning out to be a hit. Amal Neerad himself is the cameraman of the film scheduled to start by the end of the year.
