National Award Winner cinematographer cum director Venu’s Mammootty-starrer ‘Munnariyippu’ is set for Ramzan release. The movie is scripted by Unni R.
Earlier it was reported that the movie will be released in June 12 and later postponed to June 19. The latest report is that the movie is slated for Ramzan release.
Mammootty plays Raghavan, who is out from jail after the period of imprisonment. Aparna Gopinath plays a journalist who writes the biography of Raghavan. It is also reported that Raghavan will be one of Mammootty’s most remembered characters with ample scope for performance. Mammootty has a varied get up in the movie.
Nedumudi Venu, Prathap Pothen, Renji Panicker, Joy Mathew, Sreeraman, Sudheesh, and Saiju Kurup also include the cast. The trailers of the movie which are already released have been well received.
