The pooja ceremony of Mammootty’s next film Thappana was held at Hotel Gokulam Park Inn, Kochi on Mar 5. The film, scripted by Sindhu Raj, is being directed by Johnny Antony.
Thappana is being produced by Milan Jaleel under the banner of Galaxy Films. Charmi plays the heroine in the film. It’s her third film in Malayalam, after Kattu Chembakam and Aagathan. Murali Gopi also plays an important role in the film.
The ceremony was attended by several prominent names from the industry including Mammootty, Dileep, Tamil actors Sasi Kumar and Samuthirakani, Joshiy, Siby Malayil, Kamal, Major Ravi, Jose Thomas, M Padmakumar, Charmi, Milan Jaleel, Sasi Ayyanchira and Johnny Antony.
The shooting of the film has started in Kochi. Johnny Antony has just completed Masters, with Prithviraj, Sasikumar and Pia Bajpai.
