Mammootty has challenged superstars from other industries to take up this challenge for the welfare of earth!
While thousands of people are pouring ice water over themselves for the cause of the disease ALS, here is a chance to plant a tree by pouring some water on it. Anybody can take up this challenge. The result is, a green, beautiful and better world. The superstar announced this challenge on his Facebook page.
With a picture of him planting a sapling, Mammootty wrote on his Facebook page: ”As you all know ALS Ice bucket Challenge is being viral in Online and Offline media. I proudly kick start a novel concept called My Tree Challenge (MTC). I request all my friends, colleagues from the Malayalam Film Industry and FB friends to join in for the good cause and make this world a greener place to live. I challenge – Sharukh Khan, Vijay and Surya to plant a sapling and join this Eco revolution.”
In a few hours, the page started for this cause exceeded 30,000 likes! The actor also requested his fans and other stars from the industry to follow this. Now, that is a real superstar, truly yours!
