Manmadhan Ambu Story:
Major R Mannar (Kamal Hassan) who runs a security agency along with his friend Rajan(Ramesh Arvind) gets an assignment from an over possessive lover Madan Gopal(R Madhavan) a industrialist to keep an eye on his actress lover Ambujakshi(Trisha). Ambu finds to be uncomfortable with Madans possessive and maintains a slit. As Ambu goes on an European tour with her school time friend a divorcee Deepa (Sangeetha) with her two kids. The rest of the story is how Mannar managed to go by and made it to a happy ending.
Highlights:
Kamals performance is a special mention and one can surely say that he is the show stealer with perfect comic timing. This is going to be a treat for his fans with loads of comedy.
Stunning beauty Trisha is sweet and portrayed the role of honest lover Ambujakshi perfectly with the much needed emotions.
Madhavan gave a good performance as a possessive lover.
Sangeetha is the perfect fit for the role and has given the best performance from her side.
The other supporting characters Ramesh Arvind, Urvashi, Kitty, Usha Uthup, Maju Pillai, Ooviya and Kunjan have done their respective roles at their best.
Suriyas cameo role is an attractive aspect for the film.
Screenplay done by Kamal Hassan is a special mention. One cannot find a boring sequence through out the film with his excellent screenplay skills.
Director K. S Ravi Kumar has presented the film in a neat manner. He understands the pulse of the audience in a right manner and gives the required quantity of comedy.
Music director Devi Sri Prasad has given an awesome background score and the songs are good.
Manush Nandan Cinematography is okay. He captured the foreign land locations and specially the cruise in a great manner. Shaan Mohammeds editing is smart.
The first half creates excitement, while the second half goes routine with the boring confusion comedy.
On a whole Manmadhan Ambu is just like a roller coaster ride with healthy comedy done by Kamal. The film can be watched with the family for the hilarious comedy.
