One fast bowler has replaced another fast bowler in the Malayalam film Mazhavillin Attam, noted lyricist Kaithapram’s first directorial venture. The film is based on a cricketer from Pakistan who comes to coach a Kerala team from Malapuram.
Earlier, Pakistani fast bowler Mohammed Asif was announced in the lead role. But Kaithapram was forced to replace him with Pakistani middle order batsman Mohammed Hafiz due to the betting allegation against Asif. Hafiz will now play the role of the coach.
Kaithapram has also roped in legendary Cricketer Kapil Dev and Bollywood Actor Sunil Shetty in his squad. The pooja will be held on November 14th at Kochi and the shoot will start by November 24th in Kannur.
Madhu, Nedumudi Venu, SalimKumar, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Archanakavi and newcomer Krishna are also in the star cast.
Kaithapram is introducing his son Deepankuran as the music director through the film. T.A. Razak is penning the scrren play for the story of Kaithapram..
