2012 is soon turning out to be an eventful year for Malayalam film industry.
The year has seen more than 100 releases by the beginning of November. Last year, the total number of releases for the whole year was around 90.
Now take a look at the films, which are expected to hit the screens during the next two weekends. Shafi’s 101 Weddings, which was postponed due to the cinema strike is almost certain to hit the screens. Asif Ali starrer Idiots is said to be the other release, along with Scene 1 Nammude Veedu and Ardhanareeswaran.
The other releases during November include Mammootty’s Face to Face, Maqbool Salmaan’s Matinee, Meera Jasmine’s Lisammayude Veedu, Jayaram’s Madirasi, Revathy Varma’s Mad Dad, V K Prakash’ Poppins, Sunil Ibrahim’s Chapters and Shajoon Kariyal’s Chettayees.
Now, no one is really sure about the films that will be released eventually but with more high profile films getting ready in December, who will wait? Let’s wait and watch for now.
