Suddenly things are appearing brighter for Spandy of the Kannada film industry. Ramya aka Divya Spandana has now become busier having signed three films with established heroes, though the heroes of the big league have not been very comfortable with the idea of working with her.
Now, Ramya will be working with Vijay in the new film Johny Mera Naam to be directed by Preetham Gubbi for producer Jayanna. Sources say that she has signed the film for Rs. 20 lacs, though producer K.Manju paid a one installment payment of Rs. 12 lacs only for Kichcha Huchcha.
Last week the pooja and muhurath of the new film Sidlingu produced by T.P.Siddaraju was held without any fan fare. In this film Ramya is the heroine and will be teamed with Yogish. The film to be directed by Vijaya Prasad is expected to start its shoot after January, as Yogi is busy with the newly launched Puneet starrer untitled film, a remake of Nadodigal, which is expected to be completed in the first week of January.
Incidentally, director Rajashekhar Rao who has earlier directed the film Ondhu Preethiya Kathe has decided to select Dhyan and Ramya to play the lead in his new film Madhuranagari which is based on a real life love story.
Ramya has decided to dub in her own voice in all her future projects, as there has been very good positive reactions to her dubbing work in the recently released film Kichcha Huchcha.
It looks like Ramya will be busy for the next seven to eight months working on all these three films.
