Shafi is directing 101 Weddings, which has Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya and Biju Menon in the lead. The film has been scripted by Kalavoor Ravikumar.
The heroines are Roopa Manjari and Bhama. The shooting has started at Thodupuzha.
Shafi is known for his ability to churn out hits but his last film, Veniceile Vyaapari bombed at the box office.
Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya have teamed up in a couple of films earlier, including hits like Swapnakkoodu and Gulumaal. Biju Menon, who is having a great run after Seniors and Ordinary joins them in 101 Weddings.
