The highly anticipated sequel to Anees Bazmi’s ‘Welcome’ might see Sonakshi Sinha play the female lead.
If the latest reports are anything to go by then the ‘Dabangg 2’ star has replaced Katrina Kaif in ‘Welcome 2’.
According to DNA, Shotgun junior will be paired opposite John Abraham, whose latest ‘Shootout at Wadala’ was a blockbuster.
The sequel directed by Anees Bazmi is said to go on floors from June.
Sonakshi made her debut in 2010 in Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ and has since then been producers’ hot favourite. She comes across as a perfect Indian heroine and has made a million hearts skip a beat. She has also been paired opposite Bollywood biggies Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar. She will also be seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘Lootera’ with Ranveer Singh playing her love interest.
But it will be interesting to see Sona with the ‘Shootout at Wadala’ star. Will Sinha and Abraham’s jodi create magic on screen?
We will have to wait and watch.
