A college student from Bangalore Deepika Kammaiah has been chosen as the heroine of Darshan’s new film Chingari directed by choreographer Harsha.
Key sequences featuring Darshan and the newly chosen heroine Deepika were canned by Harsha. During the launch of the film and in the subsequent press conference, Mumbai based dance choreographer Daisy Shah was introduced as the heroine of this film. However, within a month she has been replaced by model turned actress Deepika Kammaiah.
Darshan plays a `tapori` in this film which is produced by Mahadev who had earlier produced the much loved film Shishira. The unit will be moving to Switzerland for songs in the month of October.
