Finally, Aamir Khan has kept his word to Amitabh Bachchan about joining Twitter. The actor has joined the micro-blogging site under the name aamir_khan. His first tweet on July 1 was a poetic couplet for Big B.
“Bhala gardish falak ki chain deti hai kise Insha, ganimat hai ke hum surat yahan do-chaar baithey hain. Esp for you sir. Love.” Aamir tweeted on the morning of July 1.
Within hours of him joining the site, Aamir got more than 46,000 followers and they are still increasing every hour.
Aamir obviously was touched by the warm welcome by his fans on Twitter.
“Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Love. Aamir,” he responded.
So far Aamir is following only one person on Twitter. Not hard to guess, it’s Amitabh Bachchan.
