Director Ali Akbar has started shooting for his new movie with veteran actor Thilakan. Titled as ‘Achan’, this will be an emotional story based on a play with the same title, which was written by S R Raveendran. A director who specialised in making low budgeted movies like his recent ‘Senior Mandrake’, the shoot for this movie is expected to get completed in two weeks.
‘Achan’ will be produced by Ali Akbar’s wife Louisiama, while the director’s daughter had scored the tunes to the songs sung by G.Venu Gopal.
This movie is of special interest in the media as this is the first movie from Thilakan after he was officially shown the exit of AMMA. When the director announced the project a few weeks ago, his car parked in his house was also stoned by some miscreants, which also captured news headlines.
