Actor Ravi Vaswani, best remembered as Nassruddin Shah’s photographer partner in the classic film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron died of cardiac arrest last afternoon.
Ravi Vaswani was a talented actor and filmmaker. On his way to Delhi from Nainital, Vaswani suffered a cardiac arrest and breathed his last. He was location hunting for his new film when the incident occurred.
Ravi Vaswani was a well known actor. He was well known for his comic skills and underplaying a character in the true sense. He started his career in 1981 with Chashme Buddoor and has done many successful films as comedian and character artist.
He has also been very active on Indian TV as well. One of his major hits has been the cult comedy Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron for which he won Filmfare Best Comedian Award in 1984.
