Veteran actress Santha Devi has been hospitalised at her native place in Kozhikode on Thursday. She is suffering from severe kidney desease.Doctors said her condition is serious. As she was not able to cop with her old age hardships and ailments she was shifted to an old age home last month run by state government from her son Suresh Babu’s house at Nallalam, when his family shifted to Salem. She has immortalised many roles and won national award for the best supportig actress.
