Popular model-dancer-singer Aishwarya Muraleedharan is making her acting debut in cinema through director Haridas Keshavan’s new Malayalam film Veendum Kannur, a sequel to Manoj K. Jayan-Vani Viswanath starrer Kannur, released in the 90s.
Popular Malayalam-Tamil actor Bala is the hero. The film, scripted by Robin Thirumala, who scripted the original, is produced by Nasser Thirur under the banner of Caipon Entertainment.
Besides Bala, the film stars Feroz, Kalabhavan Mani, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Janardhanan, Saikumar, Risabava, Mamukkoya, Augustine, Sadiq, Tony, Chalipala, Kiranraj, Shwetha Menon, Vani Viswanath, Urmila Unni, Usha and Ponnamma Babu. The shoot is expected to start shortly.
