Ajith Kumar’s Billa 2 shoots despite strike

‘Strictly no rules’ was the caption of Ajith Kumar’s Mankatha. The actor seems to have followed it for his next project Billa 2. Well, the strike called by Tamil Nadu Film Producers’ Council (TFPC) and Film Employees’ Federation of South India (FEFSI) has not affected his next film, as the cast-crew has been shooting in Hyderabad without taking permission from the concerned associations.

Producer Suresh Balaje has said that FEFSI was not happy with them. The film unit has a contract with the film city, which does not permit them to use equipments or workers from outside. The Billa bosses have done their best not to include those employees, whose wages dispute are yet to be be settled.

The shooting of Billa 2 was started long ago and they wanted to finish it at the earliest, as they have other commitments. The producer ends on the note that they did not come to Hyderabad to avoid the yet-to-be settled strike.

Billa 2 is directed by Chakri Toleti and it is produced by Suresh Balajee. It also features Mumbai-based model Huma Qureshi, Bruna Abdullah, Prabhu, Rahman, Krishnakumar and others in the cast.
