Navya Nair also joins Mohanlal’ as one of the heroines in his new action film Ali Bhai, the film which is being shot in Valiyangaady market in Kozhikode has Mohanlal playing Ali Bhai, a trade union leader who controls the famous Palayam market in Kozhikode. He is the descendent of Baramy who came from Yemen, centuries ago, to do business in Kerala. Gopika is the other heroine in the film.
The film has a big supporting cast including, Innocent, Cochin Haneefa, Sai Kumar, Rajan P Dev, Siddique, Jagadish, Shammi Thilakan, Augustine, Anand, T.G Ravi, Arya and Kalaraknjini.
The script is written by T.A Shaheed, and music by Alex Paul. The film, distributed by Central pictures, will be Onam release of Lal.
