Last week, Media One Global Entertainment, the producers of Arya’s Chikku Bukku, had issued a press statement that the star is not cooperating for the dubbing work of the film.
They had threatened to take the matter to TFPC, and alleged that he was giving preferential treatment to his other pending film, Boss Engira Baskaran. Arya denied the matter and said that all the films that he is doing are being given the same treatment.
Later, Arya had a frank talk with the producers of Chikku Bukku, and the matter has been sorted out – he has agreed to dub for the film. He has also promised to promote it aggressively at the time of release.
Meanwhile, Arya flew down to Kochi for promoting his critically acclaimed hit Madrasapattinam, with its director Vijay.
Arya, who is originally from the Malabar area in Kerala, drew a big crowd at the promotional event. Addressing the gathering in Malayalam, the actor said: “ Madrasapattinam is my best work till date. I’m sure the Kerala audiences will lap it up as it is an all new experience for them.”
