Arya is one of the most saleable stars in Kollywood. After the mega success of Boss Engira Baskaran, he has become a star and has gone up the ladder.
Now Bala’s Avan Ivan where he is pitted against Vishal is hot among the summer releases.
Everybody wants a piece of Arya, including Mani Ratnam who has signed him to do his period drama Ponniyin Selvan. Lingusamy’s Vettai , a multi- starrer of sorts and the shooting of this action packed mass masala starts on March 16 in Karaikudi.
Now the star is going to produce his own film under his ‘Show People’ banner with Boopathy Pandian directing it. The film will start sometime in June after Arya completes Vettai. Pandian has made mass masala movies like Thiruvilayadal Aarambam, and Malakottai which were all commercial hits.
Pandian as per the grapevine is going to revive his Vedi, which he started with Vikram, before the actor walked out of the project. The buzz is that Arya is doing Vedi, which he will produce and act, of course the film’s title will be changed. The cast and crew for this film will soon be finalized, and it will be a quickie.
Remember Arya has to join Mani sir’s Ponniyin Selvan by October.
