Hilary Duff is a proud new mom! The star and husband Mike Comrie welcomed baby Luca Cruz this week and she shared the fabulous news on Twitter.
“Welcome to the world, Luca Cruz Comrie!” she wrote. “Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound, 6 ounce beautiful boy.”
“We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world,” the singer/actress added.
The 24-year-old plans to be back in the recording studio this year, and we imagine Comrie will have an awesome time playing Mister Mom when his wife returns to work. The former NHL star announced his retirement from hockey in February after undergoing a third hip surgery.
She and Comrie announced the pregnancy back in August 2011.
