Actress Lakshmi Rai has mentioned that she refused a role Karthi’s film. She had acted in many films including Tamil films Dhaam Dhoom, Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam, Mankatha and Kanchana. But none of the films fetched her good name. Currently she is acting in Malayalam films.
She while speaking to us said, “When I entered the cinema industry I accepted all the films that came my way but now I have changed this attitude. In future I will accept the roles that have importance for me. When director Sooraj narrated my role in Karthi’s film, I did not like it. I felt that it is better not to act in this role and refused it.
Similarly I was offered second heroine role in Jeeva’s film. I refused that also. Currently I am acting in 3 Malayalam films, 2 Kannada films and in 1 Telugu film. On the whole I am having six films in my hands. I have strong faith in God and hard work. I have the talent of facing any problem. I am prepared to wait for good films.”
