Sonia Aggarwal has denied media reports that she has signed a film opposite Mohanlal in Malayalam.
In fact this news grabbed headlines as the film has two heroines and Sonia was supposed to share screen space with her bete noire Andrea.
Sonia said: “ I am definitely looking forward to working with top actors like Mammootty and Mohanlal in Malayalam but after hearing the script of this project I wasn’t too impressed by my role in it. I had politely refused but can’t figure out how this news of me is all over the media”
This untitled thriller directed by B Unnikrishnan is produced by UTV Motion Pictures and has Mohanlal in the lead and Andrea plays the lead.
Quizzed if she opted out realizing that Andrea has a better role, Sonia quips: “I’m not insecure about anyone, especially Andrea. For me the only thing that matters is my role and the script. In Malayalam, I’m looking forward to good stories and working with some of the talented actors”
