Jayaram in Vijay’s Thuppakki

Jayaram the versatile actor is busy in Malayalam and a couple of his recent films did fare well at the box-office.

But the actor loves to do the occasional Tamil movie, as he is the only Malayalee actor settled in Chennai with his family.

Jayaram’s last outing in Kollywood was Prashanth’s Ponnar Shankar and now he will be doing a small but significant role in director A R Murugadoss’ Thuppakki.

Jayaram spoke to BizHat.com: “I was impressed by the character when Murugadoss narrated it to me and agreed to do it. Once the on-going tussle between TFPC and FEFSI is sorted out, I will start shooting for the film”.

So will it be another negative role like what he did in Saroja and Dhaam Dhoom and pat comes the reply with his usual humour: “Do I look like a villain? I can’t reveal the role but it is not the usual bad man role for sure”.
