Director K. Bhagyaraj is making an entry to Malayalam cinema through Dileep starrer Mr Marumakan.
But not in the director’s seat. He will be in front of the camera for the first time in Malayalam cinema.
He is playing Dileep’s father- in- law while Tamil actress Roja is playing his wife.
Bhagyaraj is the last from his family to appear in a Malayalam movie. His wife Poornima debuted through Manjil Virinja Pookkal. Their daughter Sharanya acted in Photographer opposite Mohan Lal and their son Shanthanu debuted with Mohanlal in Angel John.
And Bhagyaraj rewrites the family history of debuting in a Mohanlal film. Leading script writers Sibi Udayan is penning the screenplay.
Mr Marumakan is directed by Sandhya Mohan will start rolling by February.
Since Dileep- Sibi- Udayan team is supposed to be a hit combo, Bhagyaraj is expected to start his innings in Mollywood on a winning note.
